Names of women is a set of eleven stories in which the voice of women is the protagonist and common thread: women belonging to different éfew and social classes. ¡ILLUSTRATED!
I open the book Sofonisba Anguissola, painter of cámara at the court of Philip II, with her particular battle against the courtly intrigues around her valía as an artist. It is closed by Aicha, a young student, daughter of North African immigrants, fully integrated into her city, who rebels against the traditions of her ancestors. And among them, we will meet other women, such as Berta and Rufina: two women of low social condición whose story of friendship and overcoming 243;n takes place in the early nineteenth century in the Madrid of the Baroja brothers.
Women of all stories are brave, intelligent, and know what they want. Some, entrepreneurial, ambitious; others make decisions regardless of impositions and obstaclesáasses; and the más follow against all odds the path they have traced from the beginning. Some stories that will make usán think, excite and some of them even have fun with a subtle humor not without ironía.
