Eco Kiwi de Asturias is a family project located in the Río Piloña valley, in the town of Antrialgo. It is located behind the Sueve, a #225 massif, which rises by the sea on the Asturian central-eastern coast.
In this environment we start by planting in a greenhouse the seeds contained in a dozen kiwis. After two-#241;#233;os pampering the plántulas, we transplanted in January 2006. At the end of 2009 we already contáwe had almost a hectárea of ecol farming landógico certified kiwi Hayward (Actinidia Deliciosa).
Recently, we have expanded another hectárea average in which we include kiwiño baby kiwi (Actinidia Arguta) plants.
Our small #241;a kiwi plantción is a vital bet:
- We bet on life projects in the countryside, in an armónico enjoyment in and with nature.
- We are committed to the revitalization of #243;n socio-económica of our valley through our valley through #233;s of sustainability-conditioned agriculture in which production systems #243;n are in order to be compatible with the environment in which they are located, effectively leveraging all available resources and avoiding or minimizing waste production #243.
- We bet on short marketing channels #243;n that reduce the ecológica footprint and establish knowledge ví between the producer and the consumer.
The team is made up of four people: Inma, Javier, Iria and Gabriel, the whole family,
