HOW TO USE

Rectal measurement: Apply petroleum jelly or water-soluble gel to the probe to facilitate its introduction into the anus.
Being careful to introduce 1 cm .
In case any resistance is noticed, stop immediately.
Maintain contact for 1.5 minutes.
The usual values are between 35.2 ¿ 36.7ºC Axillary measurement: Place the probe under the arm, maintaining good contact with the skin, it should be completely dry.
Press with your arm against your body for five minutes.
The usual values are between 35.2 ¿ 36.7ºC.
To achieve the best measurement of the axillary temperature, it is advisable to extend the measurement time up to 5 minutes, regardless of the alarm.
Oral measurement: Place the probe under the tongue and to the right or left of the base of the tongue.
Then close your mouth for 3 minutes.
An accurate taking of the temperature requires keeping it previously closed for five minutes and breathing through the nose.
The usual values are between 35.7 ¿ 37.3ºC.
