En mead La Runa we make 6 varieties of mead:

2 varieties of mead estándar made úonly with water, honey and yeast:

Hidromiel Dulce: worked with rosemary honey from Granada. It is a sweet mead with 8º of alcohol.

Hidromiel Semiseco: worked with honey from milflores de La Alpujarra. This seic hydromyel, is a mead in which a greater part of azúcares are transformed into alcohol obtaining a more #225 dry flavor but with a final taste of honey.

2 varieties of spicy mead, known as metheglin:

Hidromiel Vainilla: worked with honey from milflores from La Alpujarra. It is a sweet mead with a characteristic #237 flavor and a final vanilla aftertaste that is used in its manufacture #243. Contains 7.5º alcohol.

Hidromiel Naranja: worked with honey from the Sierra de La Alpujarra.   It is a sweet mead in which we seek a balance between the sweetness of this type of mead and the final bitterness provided by the orange peel. It contains a #243 of 7.5 #186 of alcohol.

2 varieties of fruit-fermented mead, known as melomiel

Hydromiel Fruits of the forest: worked with rosemary honey from La Alpujarra. It is a sweet hydromil with a flavor of berries among which currants, arándanos and blackberries stand out, #225 providing a greater acidity. It contains a #243 of 8 #186 alcohol.

Hidromiel Manzana: worked with orange blossom honey from the Lecrín Valley, and apples from the province of Granada In this type of mead we ferment honey and apple obtaining a sweet mead with apple nuances. It contains a #243 of 6.5 #186; alcohol.
